Oliver Brintle Headstone
This is Oliver Albert Brintle's grave marker located in Timberland subdivision. This stone was in the woods for a long time there are other graves but just have rocks as head stones. This is on Dallas Acworth Hwy. His son named Oliver Franklin is buried in crossroads cemetery;also, located in Paulding Co on Dallas-Acworth Hwy. When the Brintle's lived there the land was called Brintle's mountain. On Caswell Co NC, marriage bonds, in gen web,
found Salley Brown Married Oliver Brintle Feb 24, 1816.

Jay, Is the cemetery still there? I hope to return this spring and see it again. Several years ago logging was being done there and I hope it has not been destroyed. A cousin of ours,Mabel Prewett McGraw, had a cedar bedroom suite made from cedars from the Brintle farm.
