She was in a orphan home in PA. and thought getting married would be easier then the hard work she was doing in the home, but she had 14 children. E-mail [contact link]
I am very interested in this photograph. Orville Hammond Scheetz was the first cousin of my grandfather, Paul Gillespie Scheetz. Orville's father, William P. Scheetz, was the brother of my great-grandfather, George Henry Scheetz. The family was from Ohio and Pennsylvania; however, Orville was born in LaJunta, Colorado, and he and his family were living in Oregon by the early 1900s.
I've been trying to find out about my scheetz family, my grandfather Richard is no longer with us and he knew all the stories. I didn't get to ask him before he left us, I would love to know more if you guys could help me out. I'm corrina Josephine scheetz
This is a wonderful picture. I don't know anything about my gggrandmothers family, since she was a orphan. But she was in Lancaster, PA. when she got married. I have a picture of Elizabeth Schitz/Scheetz with her husband. Sheila [contact link]
