Patrick Robert Gilmurray

This is my Grand father he died in 1928 when my mother was under 2. In 1901 Patrick R Gilmurray lived at 51 main Street, Whitebbey and was a 17 year old Publican Assistant. He bought a pub in Greenock, Scotland and moved his family there. He fell ill in 1927 and moved back to Belfast to die. As my mother was not of school age and not the youngest child she remained behind in Scotland looked after by the staff of the Hotel.
