He had siblings Deborah Paulette (Crabtree) Mccurdy and Sylvia Dianna (Crabtree) Winker. He married Lisa Kay Ford on August 27, 1974 in Dallas, Dallas County, TX, and they were married until Paul's death on July 22, 2004. He had children Paul Presley Crabtree, Kay Lynn Crabtree, and Brandon Matthew Crabtree. Paul Crabtree was buried on July 22, 2004 in Midlothian.
