She married Russell Smith Turner, and had children Lee Ann Turner, Dennis Russell Turner, and Arlene Edith Turner. Pearl Fowles died at age 72 years old on May 16, 1990 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA, and was buried in May 1990 at Christ Rupp Cemetery in Kittanning, Armstrong County.
