A photo of Peggy Kurton (1895-1977) stage and screen actress who was born 'Gladys Augusta Harriet Kurton' in Bristol, England to parents Edgar Augustus Kurton (1870-1926) and Sarah Ann Amelia Pettey (1870-1937). Her parents separated in 1904 and she appears on the 1911 UK census at the convent school of Notre Dame, Wandsworth. She performed on both sides of the Atlantic from 1912-1925 and died in Camberwell, Greater London 1977 aged 82.
