Peter B. Van Deusen (1845-1926) Market Agent (b. December 1845, Blenheim, Schoharie County, New York, USA - d. 1926, probably Cobleskill, Schoharie County, New York, USA) Peter was born in 1845 to Benjamin S. Van Deusen (1826-1849) and Rebecca Thorne (1825-1906) and his siblings include: Charles Van Deusen (1844-aft1880); and Lorenzo Van Deusen (1848-1910). The family appears in the 1850 US Census with Rebecca as a widow. Charles Van Deusen is missing from the Census. Living in the home is William Thorne (1820-?), Rebecca's brother; and Sophia? X (1783-after1850), Rebecca's mother. On October 07, 1866 Peter married Catherine Burnett (1845-1926) and they had the following children: Peter B. Van Deusen (1845-1926) who married Catherine Burnett (1845-1926); Mina F. Van Deusen (1867-aft1937) who married Edwin K. Pierce (1860-aft1930); Hattie Van Deusen (1869-1907) who married Frank Everett Dyer (1863-1941); Benjamin S. Van Deusen I (1872-1937) who married Lynette Mae Curlhair (1872-1942) and who both moved to New Jersey; and Emmett Peter Van Deusen I (1878-?) who moved to Detroit and married a widow named Margaret McKenzie Fulton (c1880-1963).
