My mother Alberta missed his 100th birthday because we (my twin sister and I ) had the measles.

He was my great grandfather and we visted him several times in Green County, KY. He was a farmer and teacher. I asked him why he didn't go to CA. during the gold rush and he said he had his family and everything he needed here in KY.
