Grave of Peter Frederick Bobb, son of Frederick & Margaretta "Margaret" (Genner) Bobb, was born in Wurtemberg, Germany on Feb. 13, 1819. The Bobb family, including young sons Charles & Peter, along with 2 other unknown children lost at sea, sailed from Germany to Maryland around 1819, then traveled by foot to PA. The father, Frederick, died in Pennsylvania around the middle of the 1800s and Margaret migrated with her children by riverboat from PA to Orion, WI in Grant County. Peter married Margaret Shimer?. He died Feb. 21, 1913 at age 94 and is buried with Margaret, his mother and some siblings at Indian Creek Cemetery on US Hwy 60 near Orion, WI.
