"A pretty wedding was solemnized on July 17 in the Holy Ghost Polish National Catholic Church when Miss Jennie Czulada, popular daughter of Mrs. Cassie Miller, 125 North Main street, became the bride of Raymond Shucavage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Zigmond Shucavage. 607 South. Lehigh avenue, Frackville. Mr. and Mrs. Shucavage are now residing in Lebanon. Mr. Shucavage, a mining engineer for the Bethlehem Steel Co., is employed at Cornwall, Pa."

He was born on May 2, 1924 in Frackville, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, USA and had siblings Edmund (1919-1919) and Genevieve Helen Shucavage (1930-2007). They grew up in West Mahanoy, West Mahanoy, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, USA.
