Raymond Wilson Sheline, 2/23/1906-5/20/1986

Raymond Wilson Sheline was born on Feb 23, 1906 in Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, USA to parents Austin Delmar Sheline (born May 8, 1878) and Lorena Alice Wilson (Jan 30, 1883-Sep 6, 1979). He had siblings Jesse Delmar (1904-1992), Dorothy Lucinda (1908-1978), Viola Margaret (1909-1996), and Glenn Sheline (1912-1918). On October 29, 1937 he married Marie Helen Sistek Hopkins (1913-1979) in Denver, Colorado. They had children including David A Sheline, Allan Ray Sheline (1941-1970), and Norma J Sheline. Raymond worked at the Colorado Steel Sash Company as a caulking and putty mixer for over 34 years. In his free time, he was an avid yardsman. He was well versed in the art of growing a lush and beautiful yard and especially loved his roses.
