Richard Dana Steigerwald
Richard Dana Steigerwald is the son of Walter Steigerwald Jr (1915-1975) and Elizabeth Brodie Dirham (1915-1983). He was born in Ohio and grew up in Akron, Summit, Ohio, USA with two siblings. He attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, USA and was a student there in 1958. On August 14, 1963 he married Kathryn Rhoda Freeman (1944–2022) in Harris, Texas, USA. The couple had three daughters together before divorcing on April 5, 1978.
