Rita (Leveson) Brankling was born on October 15, 1935 at Sculcoates in Hull, Yorkshire County England to John Leveson and Charlotte (Hogarth) Leveson, and had siblings June (Leveson) Hall, Wilfred Leveson, Herbert Leveson, Charles Leveson, James Ernest Leveson, Jack Leveson, and Lottie Leveson. She married Kenneth Brankling, and they had children David Brankling, Susan Brankling, June Christine Brankling, and Tina Brankling. She would also marry Peter O'Grady.
