Ron Howard

Director, producer, screenwriter, and actor Ronald William Howard's father was Harold Rance Beckenholdt Howard (1928 - 2017), a director, writer, and actor, and his mother was Jean Frances Speegle (1927 - 2000), an actress. Father Harold took the surname Howard as a stage name, his original surname was Beckenholdt. Ron had a younger brother, Clint, who was also an actor.
