She was married to Mark Gann Cooper Sr and they had children Nancy Lorena (Cooper) Bennette, Pauline Emmaline Cooper, Pamelia Ann (Cooper) Anderson Grantham, Billie Dianna Cooper Lee Sena, Dolphus Franklin Cooper Sr, Violet Mae "Scarlet" Cooper Shoemake, Elizabeth Odessa Cooper Herrin, Mack Gann Cooper Jr, and Gary Eugene Cooper.
