Ruth Magdalene (Richardson) Ricketts

Ruth Magdalene (Richardson) Ricketts of Danville, Virginia United States was born on June 9, 1877 in Pittsylvania County to George Thomas Richardson and Amanda Jane (Payne) Richardson. She had siblings Daniel Thomas Richardson, Amanda Sarah Richardson Gosney, Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman, Julia Ellen (Richardson) Adams, Beverly Carter Richardson, Lucy Rachael (Richardson) Aherron, and Henry Lee Richardson. She married Edward Bennett Ricketts on October 25, 1903 in Pittsylvania County, and they were married until Edward's death on June 17, 1946. She had children Oscar Daniel Ricketts, Estes Beverly Ricketts, Paul Zebedee Ricketts, Amanda Ruth (Ricketts) Barker, Harold Edward Ricketts, Sarah Alma Ricketts, and Reuben George Ricketts. Ruth Ricketts died at age 85 years old on December 4, 1962 in Danville, Pittsylvania County, and was buried on December 5, 1962 at Highland Burial Park N Main St, in Danville.
