PARKS FAMILY TREE in Ancestry.com: We have a Samuel H Parks (My husband's great grandfather ) born in 1861 in Illinois...son of James Guthrie Parks & Mary Hathorn (aka Hawthorn/or Hawthorne). Died 1949 in Washington state. I do not believe they are the same....but who knows.
