This is a photo of my great grandmother, Sophia Ferguson Aldridge Messer, born May 8, 1898 in West Virginia; died March 3, 1928 in Holden Hospital, Logan County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Joe Ferguson, born in Wayne County, WV and Nancy Finley born in Kentucky. Sophia was married to Morgan Messer at the time of her death.
