Drema Colangelo

This is a photo of my great grandmother, Nancy Dempsey Hunt born 1880 in West Virginia; died 1970 in Mingo County, West Virginia. She married Lewis J. Hunt.

This photo was probably taken in Wayne County, West Virginia. This is Morgan Messer born abt. 1836 in Perry County, Kentucky, son of Stephen and Frances Messer. Morgan fought in the Civil War. Elizabeth Williamson is his first wife. They married in Lawrence County, Kentucky on October 2, 1857. Morgan and Elizabeth had one child together which was my grandfather, James "Redhead" Messer. Morgan and Elizabeth divorced June 12, 1866 in Wayne County, West Virginia. Morgan later married Fanny Spaulding and Elizabeth married David Aldridge. I have all of the documents on this line and I am happy to share them with other researchers.

Sam Workman born November 11, 1921; died September 26, 1979 in North Carolina; the son of Ira Lewis and France Ball Workman; spouse of #1 Mary Bess Hunt #2 Victoria Ann Mounts.

This is a photo of Nick Colangelo born 1876 in Italy and his wife, Nancy "Nannie" Horton Colangelo, born in Kentucky. Nick was the son of John and Jennie Colangelo.
