Sylvia Jenison Storer
I have an old studio photograph of Mrs. Frank STORER of Holley, NY who is also identified as Sylvia STORER. The photograph was taken at the Frank L. Weller Studio in Holley, NY and dated 1896. Sylvia appears to be in her 30's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Sylvia and her family:

Sylvia Dana JENISON was b. 12 or 28 Sept 1860 in Leyden, MA to parents Dana JENISON (1831-1913) and Sybil Diana CURTIS (1839-1861) who were married on 22 Nov 1859 in Leyden, MA. Sylvia had one half sibling, a brother George Dana JENISON (1865-1916). Sylvia married Dr. Frank Beecher STORER (1861-1931) on 1 Dec 1888 and they had two daughters, Helen Marjory or Marjorie STORER (b. 1896) and Marion Louise STORER HILLENBRAND (1901-1988). Sylvia died 31 Mar 1931 in Los Angeles County, CA and is buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, CA.

Her husband Frank was b. 21 Jul 1861 in Morton, NY to parents George Washington STORER (1827-1912) and Helen HENION or HENNION (1835-1921) who were married 4 Oct 1859. Frank died 2 Jul 1931 in Glendale, CA and he is also buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, CA.

I’d like to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
