Ada Alice (Chandler) Taylor was born on November 1, 1885 in Sublime, Lavaca County, Texas United States to Mary Lou (Houchins) Chandler and Louis Clark Sims Chandler, and had siblings John Wilkins Chandler, Marvin Cary Chandler, George Addison Chandler, Mary Ola (Chandler) McGrew, Pinkie Ida (Chandler) Schlageter, Oliver Clark Chandler, William Clem Chandler, Cassie (Chandler) Dietrich, Arthur Houchins Chandler, and Carl Hilton Chandler. She married Julius Monroe Taylor on October 5, 1911 in DeWitt County, and they were married until Julius' death on July 11, 1953 in Yoakum, Lavaca County. She had children Louis Hamilton Taylor, Gaynell (Taylor) Walcik, and Oliver Chandler Taylor. Ada Taylor died at age 93 years old on August 27, 1979 in Richmond, Fort Bend County, and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Lavaca County.
