He married Diane (Cymbala) Daniels on September 18, 1982 at St. Patrick Cathedral 213 Broadway, in Norwich, New London County, and had children Austin William Daniels, Andrea Leigh Daniels, and Paul Tillotson Daniels. Thomas Daniels died at age 51 years old on November 20, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital 20 York St, in New Haven, and was buried on November 23, 2011 at St. Mary's & St. Joseph's Cemetery 815 Boswell Ave, in Norwich, New London County.
