He married Ena Margaret (Davies) Evans-Toner in 1924 in Victoria, and they were married until death separated them. He had children Una (Evans) Broome and Eugene Douglas Evans. Thomas Evans died at age 63 years old on May 21, 1959 in Melbourne, VIC, and was buried in Melbourne General cemetery.
