Thia was a picture taken in February 1962 of Grandma and Grandpa on the occasion of his 61st Birthday. They were living in rural Potosi, on their 40 acre farm.
My Grandmother was a vibrant, pretty, sassy woman, who had many friends, and who was adored by her family. From the first years of her life, she was Daddy’s girl and went everywhere he did. She was even with him when he fell from a buckboard and later died from sepsis. She told me herself that her main enjoyment as a youngster was riding her pony, playing the piano, having fun with her friends and making life miserable for her older Brother, John.
