Tintype photo about 1" x 1" square found in a small wooden box in the collection of materials of the late Mervin Higgins of Newtonville, N.Y. Mr. Higgins married into the Brewster family of Newtonville, N.Y. He was originally from Chatham, N.Y. There is no identifying information associated with the photo and Higgins family members are deceased. Possible grandfather of Mervin Higgins? Thanks for any help with this photo.
