Unknown soldier
This is a postcard my father kept in a cigarbox with other memories from world war 2. Maybe He was an Australian soldier in the 2nd/3rd machine gun battalion. On the back of this postcard was written " Shamrock my best cobber". Initials A.G. I would love to put a name to this face so his memory is shared with others. Maybe he was in the same unit as my father. The photo was taken in Leban studio. My dad was in the Syrian Campaign in the second world war. He was an Australian. I am very proud of his service.
