This unidentified ambrotype is one of several found in a box with my great grandfather Henry Pickle Davis' Bible.

Can you help identify this man? He was possibly from New Jersey or Iowa. Possible surnames include: Davis, Pickle, Ritchey, McDowell. Also might be a Frederick, Roberts, Mills, or Friggins from Wisconsin or Illinois.
