MORCOM (Private W F)
Only a package of letters is all I have to see,
But my dear bov that died for his country
Is ever remembered by me.
The letters were sent from the trenches,
But the hand of the writer lies cold.
And the name on each letter is written in the
letters of gold.
A soldier yes, and a hero, too,
He wore the colors of chocolate and blue.
He played a man's part through and through,
When the Flags are over the roadway,
And the soldiers come marching, home,
May God have pitv on us waiting ones,
Whose loved ones will never come home
