William Henry Mattick
William Henry Mattick, born May 18 1829 in Bavaria and died at age 90 in Port Royal (Henry County) KY. He came to America at age 19 with two brothers, Fred and Jacob, landing at New Orleans then traveling by river to St. Louis. Fred settled in St. Louis, Henry and Jake proceded to Cincinnati where Jake settled. Henry came by boat to Lanes Landing on the Kentucky River where he heard a friend had located. At age 28 Henry married Miss Juliet Malin and they settled in Port Royal, KY where they proceded to have 10 children.
