William Lavallee at his brother’s wedding

William Henry Lavallee was born on December 12th, 1892 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Henry Guillaume Lavallee (1859 - 1918) and Anastasia Anasthasie Schneider (1867 - 1957). His father was born in Quebec, Canada and his mother was born in the state of Vermont. William had eight siblings: Grace, Nellie, Veronica "Vera", Eugene, Arthur, Gertrude, Edward "Dutch", and Wilbur. A veteran of the United States Army, William served during World War I. He enlisted on July 29, 1918 and he was discharged on January 21st, 1919. William Lavalle married Lena I. Trudeau on June 6th, 1921 in Enfield, Connecticut, and they had on daughter, Grace Irene (1922 - 2004), and one son, William Henry Jr. (1927 - 1999). William died at the age of 85 on December 17th, 1977 in Springfield, Massachusetts.
