Do you have information on Willie Smith's family, i.e. parents and siblings? My Smith's are from Oklahoma they relocated from Georgia. Could there be a connection?

my biological father whom i dont know was born in Oklahoma city Jerald LeRoy smith,his mothers name was louise lapisto which I think was a 2nd marriage name not sure do you know of any relatives with this name or who know of him

My name is Helene R Schmidt. I am a retired photojournalist and Texas peace offier. I love old photos! I am researching the Smith family in Phelps/Pulaski Co MO, Lamar Co TX, OK, CA and all allied families, McEntire family of Polk and Rutherford Co NC and the James Crocker family of Spartanburg Co, SC;the Schmidt family from Kurhessen Germany; the Kick family from Darmstadt-Hessen, Germany and the Kidd family from Armagh Co, Northern Ireland. Many of my Kick family members have been in New Olreans, LA since the late 1700s. My Heavin ancestors are from Belfast,Northern Ireland. I am working on a SMITH family manuscript and will be glad ot exchange family info with others who may be related to us! And we woudl LOVE to have you send us your old family photos for other family members to enjoy!

smith,lapisto,liteto,lilahta,looking for a man by the name of jerald leroy smith,biological father,born in Olk city,His mother name was Louise Lapisto last known area living in San diego,CA.Ibelieve she died in california .My mom and dad were married in San Diego, Ca.I have known 1/2 siblings, brothers and a sister,names and where abouts unknown,baby girl born in california around 1959-1960,and another child sex unknown born in St.Paul,MN.Lileto or lelahata,lilahta is my grandfathers sur name on my mothers side and he was an orphan in New York city,mother came in from finland and was pregnant and put my grandfather up in an orphanage St.Marys I believe which had a fire in the ealy 1900.

For the last three years I have been researching mine and my husbands family lines. I have gathered enough material for all most 10 volumes of records, but what I am really missing is pictures of many of these relatives. If there some out there to add to my records if would be greatly appreciated, could they be purchased for a reasonable small fee. Eventually I would like to become a professional genealogyist to research for other families looking for loved ones gone by.
