smith,lapisto,liteto,lilahta,looking for a man by the name of jerald leroy smith,biological father,born in Olk city,His mother name was Louise Lapisto last known area living in San diego,CA.Ibelieve she died in california .My mom and dad were married in San Diego, Ca.I have known 1/2 siblings, brothers and a sister,names and where abouts unknown,baby girl born in california around 1959-1960,and another child sex unknown born in St.Paul,MN.Lileto or lelahata,lilahta is my grandfathers sur name on my mothers side and he was an orphan in New York city,mother came in from finland and was pregnant and put my grandfather up in an orphanage St.Marys I believe which had a fire in the ealy 1900.

My Nannie & BigDaddy, (Grand-Parents on Mother's side) Lonnie & Louise Smith, Lonnie is son of Joe Henry Smith m. Birdie May Crabtree of Gibson County, TN. Joe Henry is son of George Washington Smith m. Julia Hamm, George is son of Simeon Smith m. Francess Elizabeth Tolle, Francess Elizabeth is daughter of Jonathan Tolle m. 1st wife Elizabeth Arnett.
Also Lonnie's wife, Louise West Smith above is step great granddaughter of Jonathan Tolle m. 2nd wife Mary Ann Sharp, Mary Ann's son, Willis Monroe Sharp m. Harriett Harder, their daughter Ella Sharp m. Emmett West is Louise's parents.

This is a picture of my paternal grandfather (who I never knew) & my paternal grandmother taken sometime between 1925 & 1935. It was probably taken in Corinth or Hadley, NY, where they were married& lived & where my Dad was born in 1930. My grandfather left his family in 1939. My Dad never acknowleged this man as his father & they never saw each other again until 1988, when Wm. F. Smith Sr. was on his death bed & requested my dad go to see him.
