My name is Kay Rixie, I was born in West Memp, AR to Ewel Reece Rixie and Mary Evelyn (Smith) on July 17, 1962.

Unkown young man, 2
One of several unknown pictures from an old Sharp/West trunk. Some are tin pictures other are paper. Anyone interested in the surname Sharp/West and would like to contact me feel free to do so, or if you can identify any of these people, please do. I'd also like to add that my great-grandmother (Ella Sharp West) had a younger brother named Add Lee Sharp, that disappeared at age 15. Never to be heard from again, this boy favors a portrait I've seen of Add Lee, on the wall at my grandparents house, don't know if this is the same boy.

Original photo dated 1892 of John Corum family of Union County, TN. was passed down by grandmother, Annie Corum. In June 2000, research info on children of John's 2nd marriage to Martha Underwood provided to Underwood webpage based on compilation of Burl Underwood book. Samuel Miles Sharp was my great grandfather & his 1st wife (Hulda Odom) was my great grandmother.
Samuel & Hulda were the parents of John Franklin Sharp(my grandfather)& Eliza Jane Sharp Treadwell.

My Nannie & BigDaddy, (Grand-Parents on Mother's side) Lonnie & Louise Smith, Lonnie is son of Joe Henry Smith m. Birdie May Crabtree of Gibson County, TN. Joe Henry is son of George Washington Smith m. Julia Hamm, George is son of Simeon Smith m. Francess Elizabeth Tolle, Francess Elizabeth is daughter of Jonathan Tolle m. 1st wife Elizabeth Arnett.
Also Lonnie's wife, Louise West Smith above is step great granddaughter of Jonathan Tolle m. 2nd wife Mary Ann Sharp, Mary Ann's son, Willis Monroe Sharp m. Harriett Harder, their daughter Ella Sharp m. Emmett West is Louise's parents.
