My father, Bob Bobbitt, standing on the left with mustach, with his buddies in the Navy CBees, New Zealand?, c early 1940's. He was the Chief of the cooks. His good buddy, E. C. Hill (d. in S. Diego?) is standing in the middle. They both moved to Ojai, CA after the war and continued in the bakery business. Bob was b. Oct 15, 1913 & d. Aug 23, 1979; buried in Ivy Lawn Cem, Oxnard, nxt to Ventura, CA next to his sister Lula Jane Bobbitt/Lopez and his brother-in-law Fred E. Lopez. "Bob"/"Murlon" & Lula were children of "Zeb" Bobbitt & Ila Irene Woods/Bobbitt, both b. in Barber, Logan Co, AR.
