Yaakov, Hendel and Yitzkhak Baum

April 27th is Holocaust Remembrance Day which marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising that began on April 19th, 1943.

This uprising was the first significant urban revolt against German occupation in Europe and ended on May 16th 1943 when the Germans deported the surviving ghetto residents to concentration camps.

So many people, including young children like Yaakov, Hendel, and Yitzkhak Baum lost their lives in the Holocaust.
