Young English woman, who is a mystery relation. Studio photo by Sinclair & Co. Photographers, 70 Euston Road, Kings Cross, 410 -412 Euston Road Regents Park, 142 Pentonville Road, Islington N. Her photo was a treasured keepsake of Louisa Ann Palmer from Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire. In 1887, Louisa married John Vallis from Millwall, Poplar District of Middlesex County UK. Louisa and John met, married and raised their family in Lincoln, Nebraska USA.

This photo was a treasured keepsake of Louisa Ann Palmer Vallis. Is this young woman from the Palmer/Pickering/Hedges/Cutler side of the family, or the Vallis/Taylor side? Is she in your family photo album? Or perhaps she was a good friend of Louisa's and not relation?

Surnames include, VALLIS, TAYLOR, PALMER, CUTLER, PICKERING, HEDGES and SCRIVEN. Known 1800's Middlesex roots are specific to Poplar/Millwall. Buckinghamshire connections include the areas of Winslow, Swanbourne, Stewkley, Wing and Leighton Buzzard. *** U.S. family roots include ROSS and ROMAINE families from New York who went westward to settle in Kansas and Missouri. ***German Russian family roots include BOHL, KAHLER, HUCK, SPREIER, SCHULDEIS, SCHULTHEIS, FEUERSTEIN,GAS, JAEGER, EIKMEIER surnames. Our family immigrated from Russia; some family members came to the U.S., settling in the midwest. Other family members immigrated to Argentina.
