Zelda (Zimmerman) Kerner
Zelda "Zee Zee" Estrin was my Bay Ridge High School Major Art and photography teacher. She was the daughter of Nathan and Florence Zimmerman, and her twin sister was Suzanne Zimmerman. She is third from the right. I'm second from the left in the first row wearing a business suit because I planned to be successful right after graduation! Zee Zee was one of my closest friends after graduation, and we often went to dinner and went on double dates. I introduced her to sophisticated bachelors. She was also a twin and her twin Suzanne had been happily married. I once met her father, Nathan N. Zimmerman, in his office. Zee Zee was constantly drawing and painting, and I loved her art. She had been married briefly to Dr. Joseph Estrin, who had lived until she was 93. Then, years later, she married photographer Sidney Kerner, who was a fun-loving and talented man. For many years Zee Zee suffered from depression and then committed suicide at the age of 41.

For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
