Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., better known as "Joe Biden", was one of the youngest Senators elected in the 1900s, served as the 47th Vice President of the United States in the Obama administration from 2009 to 2017 and is now the 46th President of the United States of America.
Neilia tragically died in a car crash with her 1 year old daughter in 1972. A copy of the newspaper article detailing the accident when Joseph R. Biden Jr was senator elect, the youngest man to be elected to the U.S. Senate in that century, is below. Joseph's two sons were only injured. On Neilia's tombstone it reads:
