ASSAULT.
On Saturday afternoon Samuel Binger was charged
at the Police Court by his wife, Janet Binger, with
assault.The evidence showed a state of domestic
Infelicity. Binger, who was recently discharged on a
charge of being insane, was sentenced by Mr.Greene,
P.M., to three months imprisonment.

At the Police Court this morning, before Messrs. J.C.
Morrow and John Sloan, J.P., Samuel H. Binger was
charged with assaulting his wife, Janet Binger, on the10th
Inst. On the day of the alleged offence, defendant was
charged before Mr. Barlow, P.M., with behaving in a
threatening manner towards his wife, when he was bound over in his own bond of £10 to be of good
behavior.
