Edith H. BRUNSCHWEILER was b. 23 Aug 1899 in Wisconsin to parents George Waldemar BRUNSCHWEILER (1870-1940) and Isa S. KUEHN (1872-1955) who were married 30 Jun 1896. It appears that Edith was their only child. Her father George married a second time on 11 Mar 1904 in Iron Mountain, MI to Alda V. ROBBINS (1875-1937) so this would suggest that her parents were divorced. It appears that Edith moved to St. Paul, MN sometime between 1935 and 1940 and Edith died 6 or 15 Oct 1993 in Ramsey County, MN.
Her father was b. 27 Nov 1870 in Appleton, WI to parents Dr. George Leonhard or Leonard BRUNSCHWEILER (1822-1877) and Eva or Eve Mary or Maria or Marie KICHLEY or KUCHIL or KUCHLY(1836-1911). George had two sisters including Adelaide Marie BRUNSCHWEILER (1863-1942) and Frances “Fannie” Louise BRUNSCHWEILER (1865-1896) who died in Appleton, WI which is where his mother died in 1911 as well. George’s father died in Salt Lake City, UT in 1877.
George was in Ramsey County, MN from 1920 until his death in 1940, though some records have him living in St. Louis County, MN and Chicago, IL at various times. George died on 15 Feb 1940 in Ramsey County, MN or Appleton, WI.
Her mother Ida S. KUEHN was b. 30 Oct 1872 in Appleton, WI to parents Joseph KUEHN (1826-1889) and Amelia WICKERT (1836-1919). Ida had one sister, Anna KUEHN (1859-1930). It appears that Ida remained in Appleton, WI until after 1920 and she died 27 Oct 1955 in St. Paul, MN but is buried in Appleton, WI.
