Elizabeth (Hurd) Coode of Ken Hill Australia was born in 1822 to John Sturd and Elizabeth Graham Sturd. She married Charles Coode, and had children Grace Deleval Hogan, Walter Charles Coode, Jane Garniss Coode, and Elizabeth (Coode) Dale. Elizabeth Coode died at age 69 years old on May 15, 1892 at Newmarket, in Flemington, VIC, and was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery College Cres, in Parkville, City of Melbourne County.
Mary Ann Louisa Evans was born in 1822. She married Robert Coode in March 1846. They had four children in 11 years. She died in 1890 at the age of 68.

An awfully sudden death occurred at Beechworth,
on the 9th inst. Mr. Coode, who has been for many
years a resident of Newtown, carrying on business
as carpenter and wheelwright, and occasionally in
the employ of Straughthair and Duncan, ironfounders,
dropped dead. He was in good health on the previous
morning, although for some time complaining of a
headache and palpitations of the heart. He was about
forty years of age, and has left a wife and family.

INQUEST AT NEWTOWN, BEECHWORTH.
An inquest was held by Dr. Dempster, coroner,
and a jury of twelve, at the Oriental Hotel, Newtown,
Beechworth, on Thursday last, to enquire into the
cause of death of Mr. Charles Coode, who expired
suddenly on the previous day.
Grace Coode, sworn, said : The deceased, Charles Coode,
was my father. He was digging in the garden yesterday,
and appeared quite well.......
The jury found "that deceased, Charles Coode, died at
Newtown, Beechworth, on October 9th, from the
rupture of an aneurysm of the sorts."
Annie (Cavanagh) Coode of Caulfield Australia was born in 1855, and died at age 64 years old on June 19, 1920 in East Caulfield. Annie Coode was buried at Melbourne General cemetery.
Walter Charles Coode of Kensington Australia was born in 1855, and died at age 42 years old on May 9, 1898 at Kensington in City of Melbourne County, Victoria. Walter Coode was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery College Cres, in Parkville, VIC.

Carlton, by the Rev. S. Worthington, James,
fourth son of James Dale, Castleton, Yorkshire,
England, to Lizzie, youngest daughter of the
late Charles Coode, of Beechworth.
When Edward George Coode was born on 1 January 1878 at 30 Pages Walk, Bermondsey, his father, Edward, was 21 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 21. He married Ellen Jane Skellett in March 1901 in St Olave Southwark, London. They had five children in 10 years. He died in 1951 in Bermondsey, Surrey, at the age of 73.
When Robert James Coode was born in 1880 in Bermondsey, Surrey, his father, Edward, was 24 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 23. He had three brothers and five sisters. He died as a child in March 1882 in London,

- WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY.
COLLAPSES AT CEMETERY GATES.
Mrs. A. M. Willett, 42 years, of Derby-crescent, Caulfield,
collapsed at the corner of Wilson and McPherson streets,
North Carlton, yesterday afternoon, and died before medical
attention could be procured. Mrs. Willett, who had been
under medical treatment at Caulfield for some time past,
was paying a visit to the Melbourne general cemetery, for
the purpose of visiting her mother's grave and was
just about to enter the grounds, when she collapsed.
