The marriage took place quietly in Sydney on
Monday last of Miss Bess Scott, eldest daughter
of Mr. & Mrs. H. Scott, of Ivanhoe, Boggabilla, to
Allan, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Coy,
Salt Creek, Mortlake, Victoria.
Miss Scott is well known for her equestrienne
ability, having won many prizes at Sydney, Melbourne,
and Brisbane Royal Shows. She represented New South
Wales five years out of six in the Interstate Camp Drafting
Competition at Sydney.
Mr. Coy is widely known for his skill as a polo player, and
in pre-war days played No. 4 with a Western District ( Vic.)
polo player. He is also noted as a breeder of ponies.
