The Inquest on Keister who was killed Tuesday night. Deputy Coroner Kent began an inquest at the morgue on the body of Charles Keister, the Bohemian who was picked up dead the night of the riot. At the request of the widow the body was taken to the family residence, 167 West Indiana St., for burial. The testimony was then taken of the officer who picked the man up on the corner of Desplaines and Randolph St. The officer testified that Keister had been stabbed. The Coroner discovered that death had been caused by a bullet passing through the heart and lodging in the back. The knife wound was from the physician probing for the bullet after the body had been taken to the Desplaines Street Station.
