Charles and Bea were my grandparents. They were very loving towards their grandchildren and I miss them dearly. I rember that him working in his tool shed making toys for us. He made me a rocking horse one time.
He was only a short man but he was tough. Walking home from his club, the Liverpool Social Club one night, he got hit by a police car. Except for a few bruises, he was okay.
Both my marriages were celebrated in their home.
