Ann was able to place heer with a loving couple, who treated her like their daughter. Ann was unable to look after her as she married an Australian man and immigrated to Austrailia. Because Tine was downsyndrome Australia did not allow her to immigrate, I believe.
Ted married Rita Mary Woodruff at St.Bernadette's, in Allerton, Liverpool on 6 October 1945. They had 3 children: Ann Elizabeth born 8 April 1955, Christine (Tina) born 12 March 1947 and Christopher Edward born 21 February 1953.
