They all started in Rouen France...in 1610 or there abouts they emigrated to St Helier's,
Isle of Jersey in the Channel Islands...David Patriarche...in 1615 he married
Susanne le Vavasseur dit Durel..
In 1636 in the census of the time he was classed as a merchant and citizen of middle
class
He died around 1637
His wife purchased some property in about 1638
Then it goes to Philippe Patriarche he was 1st lt in the 88th Reg't in the army 1787
Married and had at least 3 sons David and William and Edward.
His son David marries and has a son David jr.
William Patriarche in 1783 is Cap't of Legere Compay of the south under Col Jean

I believe it was was William who also was a shipowner who equips a vessel called
The Fox and loaned it to the States in defense of the Isle of Jersey...vessel was lost.
