Irma Buckinx (1886-1942) was the third daughter of Germain and Leontine Detiege. When her mother died prematurely in 1909 she took care of the youngest of her 13 brothers and sisters. In the beginning of the first world war, her father retired from a job as railroad employee and she took care of him until his dead in 1925. In 1928 she then married Achilles Janssens (1889-1947) with whom she had two daughters. In 1942 she died from the same hart problems her mother died from too.
