Pearl E Podsiad is my grandmother and she was a wonderful person she was set in her ways but she was an all around wonderful person who loved her family and friends. She would always put her family and kids first. I mean I could go on and on about her and not be able to tell everything about her. She was my biggest inspiration and role model in my life. When we lost her I thought my whole world ended she was my rock and when I had things going on in my life she was the one that I could always talk to, she always seemed to understand and always gave me the best advice. She’s my inspiration and my influencer with her the world stood still, at least it felt like it. Best grandmother anyone could ever wish for.

Well Joseph Podsiad is my grandfather. He died 6 years before I was born but he was married to my grandmother Pearl Podsiad and they had 4 daughters and 1 son. Daughters Nadine, Jean, Nancy & Brenda and son Bill. Brenda is my mother and she died on Dec. 21, 1991. I don’t know really a lot about my grandfather other than stories that I’ve been told. I do know that he served in the military on a ship during WWII and my mom always said that he was a good man. That’s all I can say because I didn’t get to know him. I do have a picture of him with my mom when she was a little girl and a rocking chair that he gave her when she was little but that’s it. Oh yeah he had a nick name “Porky” he always kept the bill of his ball cap flipped up.

Pearl E Podsiad is my grandmother and she was a wonderful person she was set in her ways but she was an all around wonderful person who loved her family and friends. She would always put her family and kids first. I mean I could go on and on about her and not be able to tell everything about her. She was my biggest inspiration and role model in my life.
