We need to take time to honor and celebrate the life of an extraordinary man - Charles Reina. His absence, which was so untimely, is so profoundly felt, yet we know his spirit echoes in all of us who had the pleasure of having him in our lives. Charles wasn't just a man - he was a beacon of strength, a deep reservoir of wisdom, and a safe haven of comfort. When life felt like a terrible storm with raging waters, he was the lighthouse guiding us home and bring peace amid all the chaos that would eventually bring growth. He was a very kind and generous soul who loved his wife, Louise, and daughters Carolynne and Amy deeply. He was a truly great husband, dad, nephew, son-in-law, and friend. He was an exceptional man who understood the intricacies of life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Here was the impetus of this talented artist and painter who could touch our souls with the very essence of his abstractions. And then his softer side would relish in desserts and baked goods especially those made by his mother-in-law, Anne. We will all miss him. But we don't want to just mourn his absence, we want to celebrate his life and cherish the memories left with us. He left us with memories that will forever live on and give a smile to our faces. Who will forget the trips to the "Big Apple" for the Broadway Shows and dinners in fabulous New York City restaurants. We find it hard to accept that his grandchildren will never hear his laughter, never see the twinkle in his eyes, or listen to the stories he could tell but they will know him through the stories we pass on to them. Through memory of him. we know that he will be with them forever. He will never leave them. We wish for more time and yearn for more memories to cherish. But we know that no amount of time would have ever felt enough. We are so grateful and so very fortunate for the time we had, for the love he gave, for the person he was, and for the legacy he leaves behind through his wonderful family. Let us remember him not with sadness over his passing, but with the joy, art, and warmth that filled our lives. Thank you, Charles.

She had a brother Edward Anthony Timinskas. Louise was baptized on March 25, 1946 at St. Michael's Lithuanian Roman Catholic Church 1703 Jackson St., in Scranton. Louise Reina married Charles Francis Reina on June 14, 1969, and died at age 78 years old on July 14, 2024 at 1229 Winsted Road, in Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut United States.

Hector was married to Flora Urias Reina and had children Paquiro Urias Reina and Hector.
