Ruck Family History & Genealogy

I've "rescued" an old photograph of Elsie ALEXANDER at age 14 months which was taken in July 1899 at the Griffin & Gretter Studio in Wilkes Barre, PA. The photograph is noted as "from Lilian" on the back. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Elsie and her family:

Sara or Sarah Elsa ALEXANDER was b. May 1898 in Kingston, PA to parents William F. ALEXANDER (b. 1867) and Lilian or Lillian G. NOAKES (b. 1873). Elsie married twice, to Charles Ernest RUCK (1892-1965) and to James Patrick DIAMOND (1895-1982). Elsie died 5 Oct 1963 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Lillian ALEXANDER, wife, age 46, born PA, parents born England/PA
Elsa ALEXANDER, dau, age 21, born PA

1930 census of Queens, NY:

William F. ALEXANDER, age 62, married at age 26, born PA, parents born PA
Lillian N. ALEXANDER, wife, age 56, married at age 20, born PA, parents born England/PA
James P. DIAMOND, son-in-law, age 34, married at age 31, born NY, parents born NY, a Police Detective
Elsa DIAMOND, dau, age 31, married at age 28, born PA
